Toyota Yaris HSD Concept presented at the Geneva Motor Show under the name of Toyota Yaris HSD Stamoulis twice. On the one hand, as already happens in the Auris, HSD stands are associated with a hybrid powertrain, while on the other hand, the aesthetics of this prototype is the advancement of the issue that will present the new generation of Japanese utility.

Aesthetics does not cause a complete break with the design that currently has the Japanese model, and new features are easily identifiable, such as in the headlights, larger and with the blue background that is also characteristic of version Toyota Auris HSD. Although it is unclear what will be the reliable production model on this prototype, is sure to get some changes, such as those on the tiny exterior mirrors which must gain size to provide common functionality.
Toyota did not include in its statement the characteristics of the hybrid system equipped with this Toyota Yaris HSD Concept. When the new generation Toyota Yaris count with a hybrid variant HSD, it is highly probable that the power given by the cosets is less than the Auris HSD, with 136CV. To do this, it is expected that the employee has less engine displacement than the 1.8-liter Auris.
The Toyota Yaris will come as HSD production model in 2012, just months after the new generation of utility, with the usual diesel engine combustion and gasoline, have appeared on European roads. This will be a rapid succession of the current model, which has recently been rejuvenated by a restyling.
