The American division of Honda unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show the 2013 Acura NSX Concept, a hybrid prototype that anticipates what the new Acura NSX which goes on sale within three years.
The 2013 NSX Concept takes the drive system ‘Sport Hybrid SH-AWD’ with two electric motors connected to the front wheels. It also includes a combustion engine VTEC new generation six-cylinder direct injection between the cockpit and the rear axle. This engine works with a dual-clutch automatic gearbox with integrated electric motor that enables this sporty acceleration combined with good energy efficiency.
